FALL MEETING FOCUSES ON VOTING RIGHTS FOR WOMEN

Fall Meeting
Join us on Thursday, Nov. 4, for our annual membership meeting where the program will be on the 100th anniversary of Women’s Suffrage (postponed from last year). Hear from Leslie Blankenship about “Belle Coit Kelton – 100 Years a Suffragist” in what’s sure to be a very interesting program!

Blankenship graduated from Southwest Missouri State with a degree in education and took graduate coursework in history at The Ohio State University. She went on to work as a writer at CAS (formerly Chemical Abstracts Service) for nearly 40 years. After retiring, she immersed herself in the local history scene and serves as chairwoman of the education committee at the Franklinton Historical Society and is a member of the Ohio Local History Alliance and Friends of Freedom Society. This program has been featured in the Columbus Dispatch.
