A two-day symposium in Sherman’s birthplace

April 2 & 3, 2027 • Lancaster, Ohio

Join us for a 2-day Civil War Symposium held in Lancaster, Ohio — the birthplace of General William T. Sherman!

The event will take place on Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3 at the Mill Event Center (431 S. Columbus St. | Lancaster, OH 43130). It will feature noted Civil War historians and authors from around the country.

Friday Evening

Appetizers and a cash bar will be available on Friday night.

Saturday Meals

A continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.

Museum Tour

Your ticket includes a free tour of the Sherman House Museum for Friday between noon–4pm.

The Mill sits just south of downtown Lancaster, a short drive from the Sherman House Museum at 137 E. Main Street.

Friday ticket holders are welcome at the Sherman House between noon and 4pm for a complimentary tour of the general’s birthplace before the evening program begins.
